Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking a Finance Manager to join its Strategic Finance and Analytics team. This high-visibility role partners with senior leaders to deliver financial analysis, BI insights, and strategic recommendations in a hybrid, full-time capacity.

Ideal candidate brings 7+ years in finance or FP&A, strong financial modeling, Power BI dashboards, Excel and PowerPoint skills, and experience partnering with executives. MBA a plus; professional services experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, financial analysis, strategic finance, or a related professional services environment.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
• Experience partnering with senior executives or business leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to turn financial data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience developing or utilizing Power BI dashboards and data visualizations.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects or strategic initiatives.
• Professional services experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior business leaders to evaluate financial performance, trends, opportunities and risks.
• Analyze performance against historical results, forecasts, budgets and objectives.
• Develop financial models, reporting and analyses identifying trends and improvements.
• Translate complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and data visualizations for storytelling.
• Collaborate with finance and cross-functional stakeholders to identify business needs.
• Support strategic business plans and initiatives to improve performance.
• Evaluate initiatives through market, competitor and geography analysis.
• Lead finance-related projects from inception to implementation.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support senior leadership and client teams.
