Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of analytical experience in finance or a related professional services environment.
  • At least 2 years of leading projects or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong financial modeling and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience interpreting analyses to support strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Business Objects and IT systems.
  • Power BI experience including dashboards, data visualization, and insights.
  • Strong knowledge of market research resources and financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated project management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Customer-focused or stakeholder-facing experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Finance Manager will work closely with industry group leaders, client teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, develop strategic recommendations, and deliver data-driven solutions. This position is ideal for a finance professional who combines strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to translate complex information into meaningful business insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with industry group leaders and select client teams to assess current financial performance, identify trends, and compare results against historical performance and future goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategic business plans and recommendations that support established financial and operational objectives.
  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards and data visualizations that translate complex financial analyses into clear, compelling insights for senior decision-makers.
  • Apply data storytelling techniques to communicate trends, opportunities, risks, and recommendations effectively.
  • Lead and manage finance-related projects and strategic initiatives from development through implementation.
  • Conduct market and competitive research, including analysis of industries, geographies, market trends, and relevant business opportunities.
  • Develop financial models, reporting tools, and analytical frameworks to identify performance trends, business challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Formulate data-driven recommendations and strategies to support financial performance and business growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to address business needs and implement innovative financial solutions.
  • Handle highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of analytical experience in finance or a related professional services environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading projects, strategic initiatives, or cross-functional business initiatives.
  • Strong financial modeling and financial reporting capabilities.
  • Experience developing and interpreting financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Business Objects and other financial or information technology systems.
  • Experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data visualization, and communicating financial insights, is highly relevant.
  • Strong knowledge of market research resources and financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Previous experience in a customer-focused or stakeholder-facing position.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive business information.
