Casey’s in Ankeny, IA is seeking a Financial Analyst/Associate Financial Analyst to partner with Merchandising and finance leadership. The role translates financial and operational data into actionable insights, builds models, and supports reporting and planning.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable with large data sets, and can present results to senior leadership. 1–3 years of experience and a Bachelor’s in finance or related field are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Economics or MIS or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of work-related business experience.
• Proficient in accounting principles and financial modeling.
• Proficient in Excel and data interpretation.
• Strong ability to communicate complex financial information.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and decision support across sales, margin and expenses.
• Analyze performance including forecasts, plans and variances.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses for opportunities.
• Use Excel and Power BI to organize large data sets and reveal trends.
• Translate financial data into concise summaries for leadership.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
