Job summary

Casey is seeking an Inventory Analyst to join the Demand Planning team and ensure stores are stocked efficiently across 2,900+ locations. You will manage system parameters, analyze data, forecast needs, and coordinate with procurement, merchandising, and logistics to optimize inventory flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• At least 1 year of related work experience or internship.
• Knowledge of inventory management methods for CPG and food service products.
• Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights from reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet guest demand while minimizing carrying costs.
• Analyze demand patterns and historical data to forecast future inventory needs.
• Collaborate with procurement, merchandising, space planning, operations, DC Management, IT, and logistics to streamline processes.
• Coordinate with Demand Planners on inventory strategies based on forecasts.
• Address inventory discrepancies, expirations, shortages, or excesses promptly.
• Use RELEX or similar tools to generate reports and drive improvements.
• Develop inventory control policies with Asset Protection.
• Work with cross-functional teams to optimize turnover and reduce costs.
• Stay updated on inventory management best practices and tech advances.
• Plan distribution center supply levels to support store sales via PO management.
