Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred) or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; other software skills required.
• Ability to learn new systems and continuously improve.
• Detail- and results-oriented.
• Ability to lead and influence non-finance partners.
• Experience creating journal entries and other accounting functions (AP, AR, PO).
• Budgeting and variance analysis; explain variances to business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Manage, track, and report on performance to department budgets.
• Support internal and external audits as required.
• Create and share analysis to help team improve performance to targets.
• Create Journal Entries for monthly close.
• General month-end accounting close assignments.
• Detailed tracking of costs for multiple projects/business units.
