Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Co. is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide FP&A support for strategic decision-making across the organization.

You will collaborate with leadership to drive value-added analysis and improved decision-making throughout Crescent's operating companies and functions. Key duties include owning the Capex process, steering forecasting and budgeting, and developing standardized performance reporting and dashboards for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA in Finance preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in finance with a strong emphasis on planning and analysis.
• Larger company and/or distribution experience preferred.
• Demonstrated deep experience in data analysis/mining/modeling, corporate finance principles (NPVs, EVA/economic profit, capital structure), budget/forecast variance analysis, and industry or competitive research.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial planning and analysis support to guide strategic decision-making.
• Own Capital Expenditure process including Capex analysis, monthly reporting, and budgeting/forecasting.
• Support all financial planning processes including strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Develop standardized performance reporting and dashboards across the corporation.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews for senior management.
• Analyze results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and cash flow.
• Assist CFO with special reports like productivity benchmarks and supply chain analysis.
• Perform periodic treasury tasks including AP checks, AR recording, and vendor payments.
