Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial planning and analysis across multiple operating units. You will collaborate with leadership to drive value-added analysis and improve decision-making throughout the corporation.

You will own the Capex process, including analyzing requests, budgeting and forecasting, and depreciation. The role requires strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, data mining capabilities, and experience with financial reporting systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in finance with a strong emphasis on planning and analysis.
• Deep experience in data analysis/mining/modeling, corporate finance principles (NPVs, EVA), budgeting/forecast variance, and industry or competitive research.

Responsibilities

• Provide FP&A support for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Own Capex analysis, budgeting/forecasting, and depreciation review.
• Develop standardized performance reporting and dashboards across the organization.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly business reviews for senior management.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and cash flow.
• Support treasury tasks: AP checks, AR receipts, and vendor payments.
