Job summary

South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity seeks a Finance and Administration Director to guide financial strategy, budgeting, and HR for a growing nonprofit. You will lead financial reporting, audits, controls, risk management, and oversee accounting staff while partnering with the CEO and leadership team to ensure sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business required; MBA or similar preferred.
• Minimum six years of progressively responsible finance experience, nonprofit or construction finance preferred.
• Three years of HR experience; supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting to guide organizational growth.
• Oversee audits, reporting, cash flow management, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Lead HR processes: recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, compensation, and benefits.
• Manage grants, mortgage portfolio, and program-related accounting and billing.
