Job summary

CJ Bio America is seeking a Manager of Finance & Accounting to oversee accounting and financial reporting for the company. The role collaborates with HQ in Korea and reports to the CFO.

Responsibilities include managing monthly closings, internal controls, and treasury operations, while guiding staff and coordinating external audits. Strong Korean/English bilingual skills and CPA preferred are important.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree or equivalent with advanced knowledge in finance/accounting fields.
• Master's degree plus 3+ years of related work experience; or Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related work experience.
• Bilingual in Korean and English required; manufacturing accounting knowledge preferred; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting records and financial statements; ensure accuracy and conformance to standards.
• Lead process improvements and standard work in the Finance/Accounting department.
• Coordinate external audit procedures and tax reporting with HQ and auditors.
• Provide financial analysis to aid senior management decisions; prepare ad-hoc reports.
• Forecast cash flows and manage treasury and banking relationships.
• Supervise staff, interview/hire/train, and ensure adherence to policies.
