GrowthWise Search Partners seeks a Feedyard Manager to take ownership of a 1,100-acre feed yard in Angora, Nebraska. You will oversee daily operations, lead the team, and drive profitability through feed procurement, nutrition, and cost control.

This role requires proven feedyard management, knowledge of cattle nutrition, and the ability to manage procurement, contracts, and records using computer systems. Expect a 5–6 day week with on-site work and a substantial bonus potential.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in feedyard management and supervision.
• Knowledge of cattle nutrition and feedlot operations.
• Experience managing feed procurement, costs or related inputs.
• Strong understanding of feedyard profitability and cost impact on P&L.
• Ability to lead, supervise and hold employees accountable.
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions in a fast-paced agricultural setting.
• Strong computer skills to manage procurement, contracts and data.

• Oversee daily feedyard operations, team and workflows.

• Monitor feed costs and impact on profitability and P&L.
• Apply cattle nutrition knowledge to support animal performance while controlling costs.
• Lead, supervise and mentor the feedyard team and establish accountability.
• Set clear expectations and address issues with decisiveness.
• Handle escalations and operational challenges under pressure.
• Manage multiple priorities and make timely decisions.
• Use computer systems to support procurement, records and operations.
• Partner with ownership on performance, profitability and opportunities.
