Job summary

PBG delivers mission-focused solutions for federal agencies, seeking a portfolio manager to join our team in a hybrid setup with onsite days in Washington, DC, or at our McLean, VA office. A SECRET clearance is required or obtainable.

You will craft executive briefings, dashboards, and governance materials while coordinating with senior stakeholders to drive portfolio health and strategic alignment. Responsibilities include governance coordination, demand management, and performance reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years in lieu of degree.
• Experience supporting IT portfolio management, PMO operations, governance activities, or federal consulting.
• Certifications preferred: CAPM, PMP, CTBME, PMI-ACP, CSM, or SAFe.
• Ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute portfolio management activities including governance coordination, demand management, operational reporting, stakeholder engagement, and portfolio execution support.
• Analyze portfolio financials, operational metrics, project performance data, acquisition activities, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder inputs to support leadership decision-making.
• Develop executive-ready briefings, dashboards, status reports, portfolio analyses, governance materials, and operational communications.
• Facilitate routine portfolio meetings, governance activities, and stakeholder coordination efforts.
• Coordinate responses to leadership taskers, portfolio reviews, audits, data calls, and reporting requirements.
