Job summary

Aretum is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support federal workforce planning, staffing, and recruitment by coordinating hiring actions and maintaining workforce data. The role involves creating position descriptions, processing personnel requests, and delivering reports to inform leadership on staffing and talent management.

As a federal consulting organization, employees may handle controlled information and must comply with safeguarding and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• BA or BS required with 3–6 years of relevant experience in business, organizational management, or human resources.
• Strong coordination skills and the ability to support protocols between government managers and Human Capital offices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for document creation, briefings, and facilitation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration platforms (SharePoint, Teams).
• Ability to map processes across multiple stakeholders and communicate workflows effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hiring actions, position descriptions, vacancy announcements, interview processes, and candidate tracking.
• Maintain workforce staffing plans, billet inventories, organizational charts, and Table of Organization data.
• Develop workforce reports, dashboards, and leadership briefings related to staffing, retention, training, and organizational health.
• Support workforce planning, staffing, recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
• Collaborate with human capital offices, contractors, and government stakeholders to meet workforce objectives.
