Job summary

Alpha Omega Integration is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development for USDA, based in Vienna, VA with hybrid work. You will identify, qualify, and capture opportunities in the USDA domain, leading cross-functional teams through the BD lifecycle.

You will build a strong USDA pipeline, engage stakeholders, and collaborate on competitive proposals while monitoring industry trends and shaping strategy. 5+ years in federal BD required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in Federal BD, USDA focus.
• Proven ability to identify, qualify, and capture net new opportunities.
• Solid understanding of Federal procurement processes, USDA preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field.

Responsibilities

• Qualification to Capture and Pipeline Development; build USDA pipeline.
• Develop net new business within the USDA; focus on full and open work.
• Qualify leads and opportunities based on criteria and objectives.
• Collaborate with proposals teams to create competitive submissions.
• Engage with USDA stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
• Monitor market trends and develop BD strategies aligned to goals.
