Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an experienced Federal Civilian Account Executive to accelerate adoption of safe AI within federal civilian agencies, including Treasury, IRS, regulators, and government-sponsored enterprises. You will own the full sales cycle from outreach to deployment, working with GTM, product, and marketing to refine our federal strategy while upholding security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise sales in the federal civilian space.
• Deep understanding of federal civilian agency missions, challenges, and technology needs.
• Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on sales execution.
• Experience navigating complex federal procurement processes and compliance requirements.
• Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets in the federal civilian space.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business and revenue growth within federal civilian agencies, owning the full sales cycle from outreach to deployment.
• Navigate FAR compliance, security standards, and agency-specific regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across federal civilian agencies as a trusted advisor on AI capabilities.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with agency missions and modernization initiatives.
• Coordinate with cloud providers (AWS, GCP) and system integrators to ensure deployment and integration.
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to product teams to meet federal civilian requirements.
• Create and maintain sales playbooks for federal civilian use cases and procurement processes.
• Take leadership in growing our federal civilian presence while remaining hands-on with key accounts.
