Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. seeks an Associate Facility Planner to support federal planning projects, including DoD programs, with independent yet collaborative work. You will help define requirements, analyze space needs, and contribute to master planning efforts for diverse clients.

The role requires 5+ years in planning, strong communication, and the ability to travel. Hybrid work policy applies, with about two days weekly in the Atlanta office and travel to various sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional planning experience; Master’s degree or certifications may substitute.
• Experience as a Facility Planner or related role.
• Experience in land use/site planning and/or site design.
• Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Support planning recommendations and document layouts for deliverables.
• Develop programming documentation (DD Form1391) and validate projects.
• Prepare documentation in line with DoD policies and UFC criteria.
• Assist with Vision Plans, Area Development Plans, and Installation Development Plans.
• Coordinate with teams and provide graphic deliverables as needed.
