Job summary

Rivercrest in Oregon City seeks an experienced Maintenance Director-S to lead the Maintenance Department, manage safety programs, and coordinate with other departments. You will oversee staff, budgets, vendor work, and infection-control practices to keep the facility in top condition.

The role requires knowledge of building systems, blueprints, and safety regulations, with hands-on oversight of daily operations and long-term planning to maintain a comfortable, compliant environment for residents

Qualifications

• Education and experience: high school or equivalent with minimum years in supervisory maintenance role.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Maintenance Department and its programs.
• Coordinate maintenance services with other departments and ensure quality of outside vendor work.
• Maintain safety, fire prevention, and infection-control practices in maintenance activities.
• Develop budgets for equipment, supplies, and labor and present to Administrator.
• Inspect, maintain, and improve facility infrastructure and equipment to ensure safe operations.
• Perform periodic rounds and supervise maintenance staff to meet facility needs.
• Ensure documentation and reporting of maintenance activities and compliance.
