Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Director in Newberg, OR to oversee the community’s day-to-day physical plant operations, ensuring safety, reliability and comfort for residents. You will manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and major appliances while leading the facilities team and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; an associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years managing apartment or senior living maintenance.
• Experience supervising staff, budgeting, and vendor management.
• Ability to be on call 24/7 for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance of the community’s physical plant including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs and supervise maintenance staff.
• Respond to resident and community emergencies and coordinate bids.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain budgets and purchase supplies with standard PO systems.
