Cogir Senior Living in Newberg, OR seeks a Maintenance Director to oversee day-to-day physical plant operations, ensuring safety standards and the integrity of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, major appliances, and amenities. Lead preventative programs and supervise the facilities team.

You will work with leadership to ensure timely repairs, manage vendor bids, and uphold a customer-service mindset while maintaining strong resident relations and budget compliance.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required.
• An associate degree or higher from a college or technical school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use general maintenance equipment and tools.
• Organize, prioritize, and complete service requests and repairs on time.
• Inspect grounds and buildings to minimize liabilities and maintain curb appeal.
• Perform turnkey work and ensure vacant units are ready promptly.
• Maintain excellent customer service and communicate with residents, staff, vendors, and management.
• Obtain competitive bids for maintenance-related expenses with the Executive Director.
• Understand and adhere to budget guidelines and purchase supplies using PO systems.
• Monitor inventory of parts and supplies and manage department staff.
• Respond to resident and community emergencies and coordinate with authorities.
