Job summary

The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Facilities Director to lead the day-to-day operation of our owned commercial office building, oversee capital improvements, and strengthen vendor and tenant relationships. This role ensures a safe, welcoming, and resilient environment that supports our mission in Colorado.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in facilities management or related field.
• Experience leading teams and developing strong working relationships.
• Knowledge of commercial building operations, budgeting, vendor management and capital projects.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Customer-first mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the Chamber's commercial office building.
• Oversee capital improvement projects from planning through completion.
• Manage relationships with vendors, contractors and building tenants.
• Lead facilities budgeting, preventive maintenance and long-term planning.
• Ensure building safety, compliance and business continuity.
• Coach and develop the Facilities team while fostering accountability and service.
• Continuously improve systems, documentation and operational processes.
