Job summary

Metropolitan State University of Denver seeks a Director of Facility Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across the university’s physical infrastructure and safety programs. Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations and maintenance across all facilities to ensure safe, functional environments for students, faculty, and staff.
• Oversee third-party property managers and service providers, ensuring SLA compliance, accountability and cost control.
• Develop and maintain a rigorous capital asset management plan and multi-year capital budget requests, including asset lifecycle analyses.
• Collaborate with Planning, Design, and Construction and coordinate with campus partners and AHEC for shared spaces and initiatives.
• Direct the university's EHS program and coordinate emergency preparedness with EPCAR to address campus readiness.
