Job summary

River Edge Behavioral Health in Macon, GA seeks a Director of Facilities Development Officer to ensure safe, functional facilities and to lead capital projects and operational budgets. The role coordinates with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver high‑quality behavioral health services across multiple sites.

The position requires strategic planning, setting KPIs, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards while advancing growth initiatives and infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities, engineering, construction, architecture, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive facilities management, construction, or capital projects experience.
• Experience managing maintenance operations, budgets, timelines, and contractor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Direct operation, maintenance, repair, and improvement of River Edge facilities and related assets.
• Develop and maintain a preventive-maintenance program for critical systems.
• Oversee capital planning, construction and renovation projects from concept to closeout.
• Define project scope, schedules, cost estimates, and procurement requirements.
• Supervise facilities, maintenance, and project-management staff and coordinate with consultants and contractors.
