Job summary

River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a Director of Facilities Development to lead operations, maintenance, and capital projects at our Macon, GA facilities. You will oversee preventive maintenance, budgets, and multi-site projects, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years of facilities leadership, strong budgeting skills, and experience with regulatory compliance and grant support for capital initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, construction management, engineering, architecture, business administration, public administration, project management, or a related field.
• Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management or related areas.
• Experience managing maintenance operations, capital budgets, renovation or construction projects, and contractor/vendor relationships.
• Experience developing project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, procurement documents, contracts, and project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operation, maintenance, repair, and improvement of River Edge facilities and assets.
• Develop a preventive-maintenance program covering HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
• Oversee capital planning, construction, renovations, and site acquisitions.
• Manage budgets, cost estimates, funding forecasts, and ROI analyses.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and environmental consultants.
• Ensure compliance with CARF standards and applicable regulations.
• Identify funding opportunities for capital improvements.
