Job summary

Behavioral Health seeks a Director of Facilities to lead maintenance, operations, and capital projects across our headquarters, academy, residential homes, and clinic. Reporting to the CFO, you will supervise maintenance staff and vendors, implement a unified work order system, preventive maintenance, and a multi-year capital plan to ensure safe, clean, and compliant facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management or related field preferred (equivalent education/experience considered).
• 7+ years facilities/maintenance experience; 5+ years supervising staff across multiple sites.
• Experience managing facilities for residential care/healthcare/human services settings preferred.
• Experience managing vendors, service contracts, capital projects and renovations from bid to completion.
• Experience budgeting facilities operating and capital budgets.
• Certifications such as CFM, FMP, CPMM, or OSHA 30 preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Directs all maintenance and custodial staff and all facilities vendors.
• Sets priorities for work orders and assigns staff and vendors across locations based on safety, regulatory, and service impact.
• Approves facilities purchases and vendor invoices within CFO limits and recommends capital projects and vendor contracts.
• Holds vendors accountable to contract terms and service standards; recommends renewal, corrective action, or replacement.
