Job summary

nVent is seeking a Senior External Reporting lead to prepare and file external financial statements in accordance with SEC and US GAAP. The role oversees quarterly reviews and annual audits, ensuring accurate disclosures and robust documentation.

You will drive policy maintenance, address complex accounting issues, and partner with FP&A, Legal, and Investor Relations to align communications. The ideal candidate has a CPA preference, 6+ years in public accounting or industry, and deep knowledge

Qualifications

• Strong U.S. GAAP technical accounting foundation.
• Experience with SEC reporting.
• Ability to prepare and present external financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and prepare external financial statements per SEC/US GAAP (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K).
• Lead quarterly reviews and annual audits with auditors.
• Document accounting implications of complex transactions.
• Maintain accounting policies and monitor new pronouncements.
