Forvis Mazars US is seeking an External Reporting Manager to lead the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings and support external financial reporting. You will ensure compliance with SEC regulations, U.S. GAAP, and related reporting requirements, partnering with leadership, auditors, and investor relations.

The role requires strong technical accounting skills, ownership of complex disclosures, and a drive to improve reporting processes and controls in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K).
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and external reporting requirements.
• Ability to research complex accounting issues and document conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and coordination of periodic SEC filings and related disclosures.
• Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and schedules for external reporting.
• Research technical accounting issues and monitor new pronouncements.
• Collaborate with auditors, legal, investor relations, and finance leadership to ensure compliance.
• Evaluate and strengthen reporting processes and internal controls for accuracy and scalability.
