FICO is seeking a Manager of External Corporate Communications for FICO Scores to lead media relations, executive visibility, and cross-functional communications across lender, industry, and consumer audiences.

You will develop and execute communications strategies, craft press materials, prepare executives for interviews and appearances, and collaborate with product, analytics, legal, marketing, and sales teams to ensure accurate, timely messaging that advances business priorities.

Qualifications

• Exceptional writing and editing skills across formats and audiences.
• Ability to build relationships with reporters and manage media outreach.
• Experience translating complex financial services topics into clear messages.
• Proven track record developing executive communications and visibility programs.
• Comfort translating technical information into audience-appropriate content.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of communications strategies across FICO Scores priorities.
• Manage proactive and responsive media relations and pitches.
• Create press releases, media pitches, bylined articles, blog posts, and talking points.
• Develop executive visibility content, including speaking submissions and social posts.
• Prepare executives for interviews, speeches, panels, and other engagements.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, legal, marketing, and sales to ensure accurate messaging.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends to spot opportunities and risks.
• Plan and execute launches, research reports, partnerships, and events.
