Job summary

Pleasant Holidays is seeking an experienced Event Planner to lead strategic events, coordinating multi-day education and partner engagement programs in Southern California. You will work with internal teams, destination and hotel partners, and vendors to deliver polished, high-impact experiences.

Responsibilities include end-to-end planning, budgeting, venue selection, registrations, travel logistics and on-site management.

Qualifications

• Experience planning corporate meetings and large-scale events.
• Strong project management with multiple timelines and vendors.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with hotels, destination partners, and event services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall planning and execution for assigned events.
• Support training and education-focused programs.
• Coordinate venue sourcing, room blocks, meeting space, food & beverage, A/V, signage and decor.
• Manage partner and sponsor logistics, including registration and branding assets.
• Support attendee registration, travel details, name badges and on-site materials.
• Maintain project plans, production schedules, vendor records and budgets.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Training, Product and leadership teams.
• Travel for site visits, pre-event planning and on-site management.
• Anticipate needs, identify risks and ensure high-quality guest experiences.
• Exercise independent judgement on budgets and vendor/venue selection.
