Job summary

Denver Seminary is seeking an Events Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute institutional events that engage the public and advance signature programming, presidential and donor gatherings, and Advancement events.

The role requires strong organization, collaboration, and mission-driven leadership to support cross-department success and deliver hospitality that reflects the Seminary’s standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in event coordination or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a full range of institutional events.
• Manage logistics: venue, vendors, A/V, registration, staffing, and on-site execution.
• Maintain master event calendar and project plans with timelines.
• Administer event budgets and payment processing.
• Serve as events liaison across departments.
• Coordinate event communications with Marketing/Communications.
• Uphold hospitality standards for guests, including first-time attendees.
• Coordinate volunteers, student workers, and faculty hosts.
• Conduct post-event evaluation and report outcomes.
• Develop and steward an annual event portfolio with donors and partners.
