Job summary

Claremont McKenna College is looking for an Events Coordinator to manage a broad range of campus events, including donor relations and presidential engagements. The role partners with multiple departments, coordinates venues, invitations, meals, and logistics, and requires strong communication and organizational skills.

The position involves evening and weekend commitments, use of Raiser’s Edge, Canva, and Almabase, and reports to the Director of Events.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma, GED, or any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is required.
• 3+ years of experience at an academic institution preferred.
• Valid driver’s license or equivalent transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Arrange event details: venue, invitations, meals, logistics, lists and communications.
• Coordinate with departments on new and existing events.
• Maintain event files and track attendance and costs.
