Job summary

Madura is seeking its first Events Manager to own our end-to-end event process, from inquiry to teardown, including quotes, contracts, scheduling, and post-event follow-up.

You will build scalable playbooks, coordinate travel, inventory, and staff, and ensure compliance with venue policies and age verification, while delivering a personal touch that turns clients into repeat customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in event planning, event operations, catering, or hospitality management.

Responsibilities

• Respond to event inquiries, scope each event with the client, and send clear quotes and contracts.
• Build and manage the events calendar, and schedule rollers so every booked date is covered.
• Plan logistics for each event: travel, leaf and band inventory, the rolling station, and setup and teardown times.
• Work on-site at events when needed, acting as the point of contact for the client and venue.
• Check that each event follows local tobacco rules, venue policies, and age verification requirements.
• Follow up after every event to collect feedback, reviews, and repeat bookings.
• Track bookings, revenue, and cost per event, and report on how the business is doing.
• Build relationships with wedding planners, venues, and corporate event teams who can refer steady work.
