Job summary

Medica is seeking an Event Planning & Experiences Manager to lead strategy, planning, and execution of complex events that bring Medica's brand, culture, and mission to life. The role partners across functions and with senior leaders to translate business objectives into engaging experiences for employees, customers, partners, and community stakeholders.

The position requires 7+ years in corporate event planning and the ability to influence decisions, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressively responsible corporate event planning including meetings, conferences, and leadership events.
• Lead complex, high-visibility events from strategy through execution, including budget management and vendor negotiations.
• Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align event outcomes with business objectives.
• Strong project management, communication, and consulting skills with the ability to influence decisions without direct authority.
• Professional certification such as CMP, CSEP, PMP, or similar credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, planning, and execution of internal and external events (employee experiences, leadership meetings, conferences, receptions).
• Develop comprehensive event plans covering objectives, audiences, timelines, budgets, venues, vendors, production, registration, accessibility, and logistics.
• Advise senior leaders on event objectives, programming, run-of-show, and high-visibility execution.
