Apscareerportal in Springfield, MO is seeking an on-site Event Coordinator to develop overall event strategy for Mobilization and Development events. You will assist with major components across key events and ensure venues are booked and prepared to maximize attendee enjoyment.

The role requires experience in event planning, contract negotiation, and strong teamwork. Proficiency in MS Office and excellent customer service are essential. This position is strictly on-site with no remote work.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Experience in event planning and contract negotiation.
• Strong customer service and teamwork.
• Familiar with creating FRPs and BEOs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop overall event strategy and vision for Mobilization and Development events.
• Assist with major components of events such as World Missions Summit, General Council, GRTT meetings, Recruitment, etc.
• Oversee venue selection and facility arrangements to ensure the venue space provides optimal enjoyment.
• Partner with the Logistics Coordinator to finalize all event needs from the venue.
• Review and execute contracts in coordination with Contract Solutions and Event Services.
• Establish dates with the Mobilization/Development Director and relevant parties and ensure they are well communicated to departments or other stakeholders.
