Job summary

Visit.org is seeking an experienced Freelance Event Specialist in Spring, TX to manage logistics for in-person events hosted in the local area. The role is contract-per-event and requires onsite coordination, strong guest service, and the energy to operate in a start-up environment.

You will coordinate details, ship materials, staff events, join planning meetings, and be on-site to set up, run, and tear down events. Flexibility for nights and weekends and travel within the region is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating large-scale or corporate events.
• Available for contract-per-event work, including nights and weekends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Based in Spring, TX and willing to travel within the local region.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate event details, shipping materials, and staffing.
• Be onsite hands-on, set up, run, and tear down events.
• Assist with check-in and guest welcome.
• Communicate updates to Events Team with photos/videos.
• Resolve on-site issues and escalate as needed.
