Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Senior Events and Reservations Manager on the UT Austin campus. You will serve as the central point for intake, review, and decision-making for event and space reservations across Texas Student Experience units.

You will collect requests, ensure policy compliance, and maintain visibility into reservations while coordinating with VP leadership and campus partners for high-profile events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years in event management, conference services, or related field.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in reviewing and approving or denying requests within policies.
• Experience managing intake or approval workflows across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and managing competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Centralize intake and approval of event reservations.
• Review requests for policy compliance and feasibility.
• Escalate high-visibility requests to the Vice President.
• Track reservation activity and provide summaries to the VP.
• Coordinate with campus partners for high-profile events.
• Develop and implement process improvements toward consolidation.
