Job summary

SSA Group seeks an Event Sales Manager for Riverbanks Zoo & Botanical Garden to drive venue and catering sales, build client relationships, and ensure flawless event execution.

The role requires strong sales strategies, negotiation, and organization, with leadership in a fast-paced environment and potential for cross-department collaboration across catering, operations, and events teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years catering and/or event sales, operations and/or event planning management.
• Tripleseat knowledge is a plus.
• All education backgrounds eligible, must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to sell the venue and catering services to clients.
• Analyze market to determine revenue opportunities and upsell event offerings.
• Collaborate with clients to create detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Prepare and manage venue contracts, BEOs, and related documents.
• Ensure events run smoothly with cross‑department coordination.
