Job summary

Riverbanks Zoo & Garden is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of capital projects that support growth and guest experience. You will report to the VP of Facilities & Campus Planning and collaborate with contractors, architects, engineers, and internal partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, budget management, regulatory compliance, and clear communication across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and professional PM experience.
• Experience managing capital construction projects is required.
• Knowledge of safety, regulatory standards and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects across all stages from planning to execution.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and procurement coordination.
• Ensure compliance with AZA, OSHA, SCDHEC and internal policies.
• Coordinate with zoo departments, contractors, consultants and staff.
• Monitor progress, document expenditures and report to stakeholders.
• Serve as primary point of contact for multiple teams to ensure project cohesion.
