Job summary

Invited is seeking an Event Sales Director for Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton, MI. You will lead the event sales team, develop sales strategies, and coordinate with the General Manager and Executive Chef to deliver exceptional member and guest experiences while meeting annual event sales goals.

This role requires at least 3 years in commissioned hospitality or events sales, strong communication and leadership skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a commissioned sales role within hospitality or events; proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales plans to maximize event sales revenue in line with club goals.
• Lead the event sales team to achieve sales targets and foster a high-performance culture.
• Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to refine sales strategies.
• Cultivate relationships with key clients and prospects to generate new business.
• Oversee client consultations and create tailored event solutions that meet client needs and club profitability.
• Regularly obtain client feedback and implement improvements to service delivery.
• Provide guidance to the event sales team and mentor staff.
• Ensure event-related activities and expenses are tracked per standards.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and General Manager to design profitable event offerings.
• Utilize Cater Pro and Power BI to track sales performance and manage data.
