Job summary

Lumen is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Corporate Ethics and Compliance to lead ethics and compliance programs and oversee investigations. The role delivers strategic guidance to senior management, develops training, and ensures adherence to laws and standards across the organization.

The position requires a law degree, 10+ years in ethics/compliance, and a proven track record in program leadership within corporate environments. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of ethics and compliance experience.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing ethics and compliance programs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive ethics and compliance programs aligned to the Corporate Sentencing Guidelines.
• Oversee whistleblower hotline, prepare quarterly reporting for the Board of Directors, and report to management and the Risk Committee on status of the program.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with internal audit on compliance matters.
• Oversee corporate investigations team, including hotline analysts and internal investigators.
• Prepare processes to ensure ongoing monitoring for potential noncompliance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior management on ethics and compliance matters.
• Develop and deliver training programs to promote a culture of ethics and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address compliance issues and resolutions
