Job summary

Lumen seeks a Senior Director of Corporate Ethics and Compliance to lead ethics and compliance programs and the investigations function. The role drives governance, risk management, and compliance with laws across the organization.

The candidate will develop strategies, oversee investigations, and deliver training to foster an ethics‑driven culture while reporting to the Board and Risk Committee on program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law; JD degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in ethics, compliance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and industry standards.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing ethics/compliance programs.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure with integrity.
• High level of integrity and ethical judgment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• JD Degree from an accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain ethics/compliance program aligned to Corporate Sentencing Guidelines.
• Oversee whistleblower hotline and quarterly Board reporting on compliance status.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits; implement corrective actions.
• Partner with internal audit on compliance matters.
• Oversee corporate investigations team and hotline operations.
• Ensure ongoing monitoring for noncompliance.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior management on ethics/compliance.
• Develop and deliver training to promote an ethics culture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve compliance issues.
