Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking an Estimator/Financial Analyst for our Boston HQ to work with project managers, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing and successful project delivery. The role covers budgeting, bidding, level budgeting, and assisting in awarding diverse projects while supporting the team through all construction phases.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in CM, engineering, architecture or equivalent construction/finance experience.
• 3-5 years in estimating, purchasing, and related duties.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage estimating process on assigned projects totaling $5M-$100M per year.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior construction projects including tenant fit-outs and renovations.
• Review and interpret drawings, specs to identify scope, materials and labor.
• Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers for competitive pricing.
