Job summary

HireLifeScience seeks an Associate Director Estimator to provide cost solutions for capital projects from feasibility through funding and execution. You will lead estimating efforts with AE/CM, Digital/IT, Business Sponsor, and multi-discipline teams.

The role requires advancing TIC estimates, validating data from internal and external partners, and mentoring the estimating group through FEL processes and contingency decisions. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Estimating, Project Control, Capital Management and/or Project Management experience.
• Strong knowledge of estimating, capital management and financial processes.
• Broad knowledge of the Pharma and Biotech industry across multiple project types and lines of business.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven leadership across assignments.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating effort for capital and expense projects with multi-discipline teams.
• Prepare TIC estimates, including conceptual schedules and staffing plans.
• Gather and validate estimate information from internal and external groups.
• Review and validate third-party estimates and manage reconciliation in a team setting.
• Lead estimate risk analysis sessions and contingency determinations.
• Support project benchmarking and cost database maintenance.
• Assist in front-end planning and funding processes.
