Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an Associate Director Estimator to lead capital project estimating in the biopharma sector. You will drive TIC estimates, assess risk, and benchmark costs from feasibility through startup, coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in estimating and project control, strong communication and leadership, and proficiency in MS Office. Hybrid work with up to 30% travel is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in estimating, project control, or capital management.
• Strong knowledge of pharma/biotech project types across R&D, drug substance, drug product, and manufacturing.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Nice to have AI fluency and Lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating efforts for projects from < $5MM to > $1B TIC.
• Prepare detailed TIC estimates and validate with internal/external sources.
• Conduct risk analysis and assess cost uncertainties.
• Support project benchmarking and cost database maintenance.
• Collaborate on project budgeting and cost control.
