Job summary
GeoStabilization International is seeking an Equipment Manager based in Williamstown, KY (or one of GSI’s approved remote hubs) to own the strategic performance of our heavy equipment fleet—industrial drills, excavators, concrete pumps, grout plants, and attachments.
You will drive fleet composition, lifecycle economics, maintenance discipline, and logistics, reporting into a growing operations team with PMs and shop leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years managing heavy equipment fleets in construction or industrial settings.
- Deep knowledge of excavators, drills, concrete pumps, grout plants, and attachments.
- Proven track record in acquisitions/disposals and asset valuation.
- Fluency with preventative maintenance programs and fleet-management software.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites.
Responsibilities
- Fleet Strategy & Capital Discipline: align fleet size with forecasted project demand and optimize asset mix.
- Maintenance & Uptime: implement preventive maintenance and reduce downtime through proactive repairs.
- Project Enablement: ensure equipment availability and pricing data inform bids and decisions.
- Logistics & Execution: coordinate equipment moves, transport readiness, and on-time delivery.
- Compliance & Documentation: maintain DOT/OSHA compliance and complete asset records.
