Job summary

UCB is seeking a Thought Leader Liaison to develop and strengthen partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders in Epilepsy and Rare Syndromes across the Mid-Central US region. The role focuses on integrating patient access goals with the broader Epilepsy strategy, and on coordinating with internal teams to maximize KOL engagement at conferences and advisory boards.

You will build relationships with HCPs, lead cross-functional initiatives, and ensure compliant communications while supporting the Patient

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher required.
  • 7+ years in epilepsy/neurology and/or rare disease sales, marketing, medical, KOL development, or related roles.
  • 4+ years engaging with KOLs and building partnerships with physicians and HC professionals in epilepsy space.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure optimal KOL engagement at medical meetings and advisory boards.
  • Position UCB as an epilepsy market leader and deliver on the Patient Value Strategy.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to maximize HCP engagement opportunities.
  • Organize plans and strategies for national conferences and manage timelines & budgets.
  • Operate with high compliance and professional standards.
  • Train and develop members of the speaker bureau when needed.
  • Develop regional KOLs within the epilepsy community.
