Job summary

UCB seeks a Thought Leader Liaison to advance the epilepsy portfolio across the Mid-Central region, including Illinois. The role focuses on building strategic KOL partnerships, coordinating with Medical Affairs and Sales, and representing UCB at conferences to drive patient value.

You will engage with regional HCPs, manage advisory boards, and ensure compliant, high-level communication of educational content while traveling up to 60% domestically.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in epilepsy, neurology and/or rare disease sales, marketing, medical, KOL development, or related roles.
• 4+ years engaging with KOLs, building partnerships with physicians and HCPs in epilepsy.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Inform external stakeholders about UCB’s epilepsy strategy and assets.
• Align strategic priorities across internal teams and stakeholders.
• Increase connectivity between UCB and Epilepsy HCPs and KOLs.
• Engage in high-level discussions with HCPs and route to internal stakeholders.
• Triage ideas, issues and proposals from healthcare professionals.
• Develop regional KOLs to execute on engagement plans.
• Work with cross-functional teams to maximize HCP engagement opportunities.
• Organize overall plan and strategy at national conferences.
• Manage project timelines and budgets.
