Job summary

City Light & Power, Inc. is seeking an experienced EPC Proposals Manager to lead development of competitive EPC proposals for complex power projects, integrating engineering, procurement, and construction inputs.

The role focuses on microgrids, substations, transmission and distribution, BESS, renewables, and federal design-build projects. The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years in the power/utility sector, strong technical writing and leadership capabilities, and a track record of shaping

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in power/utility/energy sector, including EPC proposals and capture management.
Experience supporting or winning projects involving substations, T&D, microgrids, BESS, DERs, or federal energy projects.
Strong technical writing, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling client solutions.
Experience collaborating across engineering, procurement, estimating, and construction.

Responsibilities

Develop win strategies with executives, engineers, and construction teams.
Lead proposals for large-scale EPC and design-build projects.
Assess risks and mitigation strategies for technical, commercial, and execution aspects.
Own proposal schedules, reviews, and client interview prep.
Coordinate inputs from multiple disciplines into cohesive project approaches.
Support vendor engagement, procurement, and proposal clarifications.
