Job summary

GenSystems Power Solutions seeks an experienced EPC Specialized Engineer in Houston to oversee engineering, procurement, and construction phases of microgrid projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and compliance with safety standards.

You will lead EPC projects from initiation to completion, collaborate with engineering teams on designs, manage procurement, coordinate construction, and maintain proactive stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in EPC project management.
  • Proven track record delivering projects for Power Plants and Power Generation Equipment, and datacenter deployments.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems behavior in DC applications, including converters, protection schemes, switchgear, and power electronics.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system-level documentation.
  • Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

  • Prior involvement in cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, or field service support roles.
