Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to design and guide technology solutions across complex business initiatives. You will partner with business and technology teams to develop architectures, provide technical guidance, and align with standards, security, and strategy.

The role emphasizes enterprise data platforms, cloud-native patterns, APIs, and governance, with mentoring of engineers and close collaboration with delivery teams to ensure scalable, resilient solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree.
• 5+ years of experience in related field; in lieu of degree, 7+ years.
• Experience developing enterprise technology strategies and leading large-scale architecture initiatives.
• Deep expertise in Data & Analytics, Cloud, Software Development, Integration, Infrastructure, or Security Architecture.
• Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and change-management capabilities.

Aufgaben

• Develop solution architectures, roadmaps, and technical designs that align with enterprise standards and objectives.
• Serve as a senior architect for complex initiatives, partnering with stakeholders and delivery teams to provide guidance.
• Design scalable data architectures that support data quality, governance, analytics, and compliance.
• Develop solutions across cloud, data & analytics, integrations, APIs, event-driven architectures, databases, and application development.
• Apply architectural standards, governance, and security requirements for scalable, resilient solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and participate in proofs of concept to address business needs and modernization.
• Identify and address risks, gaps, dependencies, and design considerations for performance and security.
• Provide architecture guidance throughout the SDLC and mentor engineers.
