Job summary

Capital Blue Cross in Harrisburg, PA, is seeking a Solution Architect to lead enterprise architecture activities guiding a portfolio of solutions, systems, and services. You will create designs, governance, and roadmaps aligned with business goals and regulatory standards, including HIPAA.

The role collaborates with product owners, developers, and other architects to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions that drive targeted business outcomes for members and the community.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 4 years in a solution architecture.
• Experience designing, implementing, and integrating enterprise applications leveraging modern stacks.
• Knowledge of Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, JSF and Angular.
• Proficiency in integration architecture including SOAP, REST, HL7 FHIR; Kafka.
• Strong Salesforce knowledge and cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with secure CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven.
• Healthcare payer domain knowledge including claims, eligibility, benefits, provider networks.
