Job summary

Blue Cross NC seeks a Principal Business Architect to deliver enterprise-wide consulting and drive strategic initiatives. You will link business strategy to capabilities across people, processes, technology, and information, guiding senior leaders through complex problems and high-impact changes.

You will lead workshops, provide actionable recommendations, and develop enterprise business architectures aligned with strategic goals, ensuring data-driven planning and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree is required (where indicated).
• 8+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver internal consulting services and change leadership at enterprise level.
• Facilitate participative decision making and planning workshops with senior leaders.
• Provide consulting to senior and mid-level leadership on complex business problems; advise on low-risk/high-value options.
• Apply business management tools to remove ambiguity and drive data-driven decisions.
• Contribute to development of enterprise business architecture models.
• Translate strategies into business roadmaps and annual project portfolios.
• Analyze current and future states, performance gaps and root causes.
• Understand business behavior patterns and how they interact to achieve goals.
• Monitor trends and incorporate implications into actionable recommendations.
• Develop and execute enterprise business planning processes.
• Influence senior leaders in using business planning disciplines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business leaders/strategy owners.
